Smith Creek Retreat is located in the Boxley Valley Historic District, about a quarter mile from Buffalo National River at the old home place along Smith Creek, by the Boxley trail head of the Buffalo River Trail.  This secluded cabin is located off HWY 21 behind a private gate, surrounded by fields, woods, and wildlife.

Come stay awhile and see some of the elk, turkey, and deer in the adjacent fields and all throughout the Boxley Valley Historic District.  Conveniently located in Boxley Valley adjacent to the Smith Creek Preserve, near the Buffalo National River and the most popular day hikes in the area, including Whitaker Point (Hawksbill Crag) Hike, Lost Valley Hike, the Glory Hole, Steel Creek, and more.
